KEIPER conveyor belts are made of fully synthetic polyester or blended fabrics and can be adapted for a specific purpose by means of different designs as well as appropriate coatings and surface structures. The wide range of possible materials and designs takes into account such varied requirements as: High entrainment adhesion or low adhesion (accumulation mode) FDA/USDA approved and in conformity with EU Directive 2007/19/EC Colors white, petrol, black, green and special colors Anti-static designs and suitable for use in metal detectors Special resistance against wear and chemicals High and low temperatures Stress-strain behavior and tensile strength Drum diameter (e.g. blade edges) Hence, the conveyor belts always are designed for the intended application.

Can Cables are specially designed for the transport of empty or filled cans on short or very long conveying distances. The belts are made of very hard PU or TPE raw materials and some also have a steel reinforcement.

Our endless turned round belts are wound either out of one homogeneous strand or one cord and spliced endlessly without thickening. For special applications, it is possible to vulcanize the inner splice or to make a special splice based on our in-house engineering methods. This increases the tensile strength by up to 60%. In elastic types, the core is welded. In view of their special structure, twisted round belts exhibit very quiet running properties, are extremely flexible and, thus, make possible very small minimum pulley diameters of 3x belt diameter. For several types, speed up to 70,000 rpm is possible; however, the speed of 60m/s should not be exceeded. Elastic monolithic PU conveyor belts from BEHAbelt offer new fabrication possibilities. Due to the lack of traction layers joining by finger welding is no longer necessary, as the monolithic belt has a homogeneous design – even in the weld seam. The welding device HS from BEHAbelt is a simple, handy, reliable and costeffective tool for butt joining of monolithic belts. Depending on customer requirements, two versions are available with the joining table and heating paddle for max. belt widths up to 400 and up to 800 mm. The simple operation in combination with the intuitive production aids ­enables a repeatable and highquality connection of the belts. Optional adapter plates ensure precise positioning and clamping of the butt ends to be welded.

Round hook belts are the ideal solution for power transmission or conveying systems where several belts run on one shaft. Since they are easy to install, downtimes and maintenance costs can be reduced significantly. The hook belts only have to be inserted. Then the belt is joined to the hook and the second side of the hook is closed with pliers. Thus, there is no time-consuming and cost-intensive assembly work.
