Zur Erkennung der Rußverschmutzung im Schmieröl und zur Bestimmung des Grades der Verschmutzung kann ein einfacher und schneller Test „Tüpfelproben Check“ direkt vor Ort durchgeführt werden. Der Test ist nicht als Ersatz der Labor-Ölanalyse gedacht, sondern ermöglicht es, durch Vergleich der Tüpfelproben über einen langen Zeitraum das entsprechende Niveau der Ölverschmutzung nachzuvollziehen.

The precoat filter is a filter dome equipped with filter cartridges, which is fed discontinuously with contaminated oils (or solutions) via filter pumps. In the first step, a filter aid suspended in the oil (e.g. cellulose, diatomaceous earth, perlite, etc.) is floated onto the filter carriers (filter cartridges) and a filter cake layer is formed. The pores of this filter aid layer are much finer than those of the filter carriers and thus enable fine filtration.
