Colloide have gained the Investors in People Health & Wellbeing Award. This award acknowledges our commitment to the physical, physiological and social wellbeing of all our employees. We believe that a happy and healthy workforce leads to positive value in the workplace and we strive to create an environment where employees are empowered to improve, inspire and lead. Initiatives are rolled out on a regular basis highlighting various topics including healthy eating, mental health, wellbeing and exercise. Staff are encouraged to participate in fitness activities at lunch time and management have installed a shower block for those engaging in physical activity. A Safety & Wellbeing Committee has been established to bring workers and management together to promote safety, health and wellbeing in the workplace. Committee members were selected from various departments across the company, so the lines of communication are open in the office and on site.
