Today, we are one of Europe's leading providers of charcoal and barbecue firelighters – you can purchase our successful long-standing favourites throughout Germany in the food retail sector, in DIY stores, at petrol stations and in the branches of various department store chains. You can also find BOOMEX products in almost all European countries. With our usual innovation, we will continue to ensure brand new ideas and robust growth. To allow us to achieve this, our production processes are being continuously optimised and more space has been provided for development in the truest meaning of the word: The storage area at our site in Essen now spans a good 5000 m2. We have also expanded the range of items which form the core of our business – "charcoal and barbecue firelighters".

Founded by my grandfather in 1946, our family-run company has been continually developing ever since in line with the market requirements – from a spare parts manufacturer for the mining industry to an inter- nationally renowned specialist in power transmission engineering.
