Die Lesjöfors Group is one of the largest manufacturers of technical springs in the world. Our range of products in spring technology includes wire and leaf springs, punched and bent parts, and gas springs. Our experience in spring manufacturing dates back to 1852. Today, over 1800 motivated employees ensure that everything from technical design and spring calculation through to dispatch runs smoothly and professionally. Thanks to our many years of experience in springs, stamping technology and bending technology, we provide our customers with customised solutions which can be implemented in a timely manner due to our flexible production capacity. We are active on the international stage with regard to continuing globalisation. Currently, we have production and sales sites in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Slovakia, Latvia, Russia, China, Thailand, Singapore, Mexico and the USA .

In 1974, Paul Joachim Prause founded the company Schichtstofftechnik Prause, which was renamed the P. J. Prause Durotec GmbH in 1998. P. J. Prause had previously, as part of 3M Germany, significantly contributed to shaping the technical application of synthetic leaf springs in Germany with Scotchply™ glass-fibre composites. This enabled Prause Durotec GmbH to acquire more than 35 years of experience in the manufacture and application of leaf springs made from fibre composites. Prause Durotec is a medium-sized company with 16 members of staff and a global customer base. The range of products we manufacture includes all configurations of flat leaf springs with E-glass, S-glass, carbon fibres, with epoxy resin providing the matrix. The procedures used to process the UD prepregs (UD = unidirectional) comply with aeronautical and military standards.
