GÜPO GMBH

On 17th September 1959, Günter Hermann Pohl entered his aerosol business under the company name Güpo in the commercial register. He produced cosmetics and technical sprays with, among other things, a filling and gas supply technology that he had developed. In 1975 the company gained "GmbH" status as a private limited company and in 1978, moved into a new building in Kehl-Sundheim. The focus here was on the production of water-based sprays, primarily of foaming materials for detecting leaks in systems pressurised using gas or air. The range is undergoing constant expansion with continuous development under the new management. In 1998, trading began with Abrasiva (raw materials for polishing and cleaning) as a new area of business. Initially, the focus was on polishing alumina (aluminium oxides, Al2O3). As these only meet a limited number of market polishing requirements, the range was soon expanded to include aluminium silicates, aluminium hydroxides and other abrasives, both synthetic and mineral.

This tradition-conscious family business is currently being successfully run by the fourth generation of the Prinzing family. Over one hundred years ago, a small smithy in Urspring was working metal. The story of the Exonia factory began in 2003 when the founder Tiberiu Stoian noticed the opportunity to produce premium packaging in line with the new needs of producers and traders of the romanian market. We emphasize the production of BIO packaging, with respect for people and nature, currently using the top technology in the field of converting paper packaging, especially for the food and pharma industry, supplying customers such as Coca Cola, Procter & Gamble, eMag. We like challenges and we strive to find innovative solutions to produce packaging that, through distinctive elements, earns the packaged products a privileged place in the memory of the final consumers. For this reason, we are appreciated by our customers. And one more thing, in our range of products, we very rarely have to say that something cannot be done. We focus on promoting paper shopping bags and sacks, multilayer bags for the packaging of animal feed, bags for the packaging of hygienic substrates for cats, bags for the packaging of chemicals which are a nature-friendly alternative. The production capacity of paper bags and sacks in our new factory is 3.500 tons per year, over 100 million pieces. We aim to increase production capacity over the next two years over 10.000 tons per year, a project for which we have allocated a budget of over € 10 million until the end of 2024. CryLaS has been supplying reliable lasers for 20 years. CryLaS was founded in 2004 as a spin-off from Crystal GmbH – which in turn emerged in 1990 from the research and development department of the television electronics plant in Berlin-Oberschöneweide. The first development steps in the field of solid-state lasers were already taken in the mid-1990s, until the shareholders finally decided to spin off the company in the early 2000s. Diode-pumped solid-state lasers in the UV and DUV range in pulsed or continuous-wave operation are the central focus of the company and future development. Due to the participation at the New Laser Corporation in Berlin Teltow during 2006, a lot of experience was gained, mainly for the development of CW laser sources. In the following years, we achieved ISO9001: 2015 certification through our outstanding quality management. In addition, we steadily completed and continue to complete new product developments. The 266 nm continuous-wave lasers are regularly undergoing new development steps so that, as things stand today, a portfolio ranging from 10 mW to 1 W can be offered.
