The history of AWK Verschlüsse GmbH & Co KG dates back to 1989, and production started in November 1990 with five production lines. In 1997, we were certified according to DIN ISO 9001. With the integration of PP production in 2003, we extended our portfolio to include seven more production lines. 2014 was the start of production machinery for the manufacture of PVC-free closures. Our product range includes various types of closures, including gas-tight aluminium closures, ventilating aluminium closures (Topvent) and pilfer-proof closures. These are used in a variety of areas such as mineral water, soft drinks, beer, wine, sparkling wine, milk and milk mix drinks, as well as spirits, pharmaceuticals, juices and kombucha.

Patelec Group has been operating on the market for more than 50 years. We deal with copper manufacturing and processing, and our products are delivered to plants designing power tools, submersible pumps, medical instruments, and many more. Our in-house engineering solutions include Ghelios products manufactured for operation in areas requiring low smoke emission and toxicity in the event of a fire, as well as Thorex products used in hazardous (ATEX) zones. Additionally we recommend a patented Hercules design for high load transfer applications, characterised by water and oil resistance.
