Aukštos efektyvumo varikliai IE2
CME high efficiency motors, also called “high performance motors” comply with the efficiency levels established by the new IEC 60034-30 regulation. They are made in appropriately selected materials in order to minimize energy waste and thus increasing the overall efficiency of the motor.
• They are developed in accordance with energy saving guidelines, so they combine the flexibility of three-phase motors with the use of selected materials in order to reduce energy waste and thus reaching high performances.
Main features:
Available in the versions with 2, 4 and 6 poles for continuous duty S1
Focus on high efficiency
Since 16th June 2011, in compliance with the IEC 60034-30 regulation, in Europe motors must have a minimum efficiency level corresponding to IE2. The class IE3 (electric motors with an absorption power 7.5 – 375 kW) is compulsory since 1st January 2015.
Electric motors IE2 are allowed only if equipped with a VSD (inverter), with exception for the smallest motors. For these the regulation will be in force starting from the 1st January 2017.
The regulation IEC 60034-30 is valid for three-phase asynchronous motors with cage rotor and single-speed between 50 and 60 Hz that:
• have a rated power between 0.75 and 375 kW
• have a nominal voltage up to 1000 V
• have 2, 4 or 6 poles
• operate in-line
• hey are categorized depending on their functions according to IEC 60034-1, part 6.
Included in the regulation are::
• motors with flange, feet and/or shaft those mechanical dimensions don’t comply with IEC 60072-1
EXCLUDED from the regulation are:
• with 8 poles
• developed only to be used with inverters, in compliance with the IEC 60034-25 regulation, completely integrated in other machines, and that can’t be tested separated from the machine.
• Brake motors
• Single-phase
• Double polarity
Typical applications:
High efficiency motors can be used in many applications, for example:
• renewable energy,
• textile machinery, packaging and labelling machinery,
• machine tools,
• woodworking machinery,
• machinery for the food industry,
• conveyor belts,
• pumps,
• fans,
• refrigeration and air conditioning
• compressors.
